The purpose of this program is to provide detailed information to health care professionals on four key aspects of HIV care. The topics are: 1) Acute HIV infection. 2) the 2006 CDC recommendations for HIV testing in the US, 3) post-exposure prophylaxis, and 4) STDs which increase the likelihood of both transmitting and acquiring HIV.
