This full-day program will provide updates on Post-Exposure Prophylaxis (PEP), H1N1 & HIV, and STIs. Upon completion of this program, participants will be able to: • Describe Post-Exposure Prophylaxis (PEP) guidelines & procedures • Differentiate H1N1 influenza from “seasonal” influenza • Identify treatment options for HIV+ patient with H1N1 • Explain how Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs) are often “markers” for HIV. The intended audience for this program includes: physicians, nurses, physician assistants, clinical case managers and other members of the HIV treatment team.
